The IUPAT wants to ensure that we leave no stone unturned in providing every resource out there in dealing with the impact of COVID-19 on our members, our brothers, our sisters, and our families. We all know too well the negative financial effect that crisis and economic downturn can take on every one of us.
The Trustees of the IUPAT Industry Annuity Plan have amended the plan to permit participants experiencing recent layoffs to receive a distribution from their account.
This policy will remain in place as long as the current pandemic affects access to employment.
