At the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary, members participated in the 38th annual Citywide Spring Cleanup in honor of Earth Day!

They picked up litter and cleaned up snowmelt in our green spaces and neighborhoods and had a great time to boot.

The Citywide Spring Cleanup is hosted by Saint Paul Parks & Recreation, Saint Paul Public Works, and local organizations.

Meanwhile, over at Missions, Inc. in Plymouth, MN, the DC 82 Women’s Committee patched and painted the ceiling and walls in the common rooms. These improvements can help survivors feel safer and more comfortable while they’re healing.

Missions, Inc. provides housing, emergency shelter, and supportive services to domestic abuse survivors and those seeking recovery from substance use disorders. They offer a collaborative and safe community for clients to heal and transform their lives.
